The HTX Premier Dragons are a youth flag football organization founded in Houston in 2026. In our inaugural season, we qualified for the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games — becoming the only Texas 6U team earning a bid to compete on the national stage.

Our mission is to develop athletes, build character, and create opportunities for young people in the communities we serve. We use sports as a vehicle to teach leadership, resilience, and the importance of giving back.
Founded by coaches rooted in Barrett Station — a historic Freedmen's settlement established in 1889 by Harrison Barrett — the organization carries that legacy of community, perseverance, and excellence into everything we do. Our coaches bring lived experience as educators, public servants, and community members who understand firsthand how sports can change a child's trajectory.
Off the field, our athletes participate in community service including Ronald McDonald House support, neighborhood cleanups, and team volunteer events. We believe leadership means giving back.
